We were lucky enough to be invited to tender for some grant funded work for Dartmoor National Park and Historic England. The aim of the grant is to help restore traditional barns considered at risk in the countryside, to allow them to remain in use as barns.

We were successful in two of our tenders. Scorriton Barn was at immediate risk of structural collapse on one corner, in need of a new roof, a new floor, general vegetation removal, repointing work and reinstatement of an external stone staircase.
