We are a group of experienced tradespeople working closely together to realise our clients’ visions – whilst all the time working towards being the best we can be.
Fully capable of managing projects of all sizes, we can use our extensive team to manage multi-year, multi-dwelling projects, and bring together the right people to work on smaller projects.
The team has a collective experience of hundreds of years working with traditional materials and old buildings. The core of our team goes back to 1997, when Joe worked on his first building project with Robert Somerville. We have grown and fine-tuned the team over many years to build the skills and the relationships with local authorities needed to work in this often challenging sector.
Not only do we have experience building to certified Passivhaus standards, we also regularly apply the same principles and techniques to improve energy efficiency in old and listed buildings.
We mill our own timber and like to work with natural and local materials wherever appropriate.
We have good working relationships with many architects both local and national. For small scale projects and traditional heritage style projects (new projects as if they’re old buildings), we are able to offer a full in-house design build package by working alongside Robert Sommerville Building Projects. This allows our clients to be much more involved in the whole process, if they wish.
Woodland Kitchens & Joinery is our sister company and is capable of servicing all joinery needs for your project.
Everything is hand built either on site or at our workshop in Woodland.
